Qualitative Studies
Qualitative studies are a form of empirical research that involves collecting and analyzing non-numerical data to gain a deeper understanding of phenomena. Qualitative studies play an important role in enhancing our understanding of complex social, cultural, and political issues. They provide rich and detailed descriptions in terms of how and why a phenomenon occurs, which may be more difficult to grasp with quantitative data. Qualitative research is particularly useful in situations where there is an interest in exploring different perspectives and experiences. Qualitative research can provide valuable insights into how people think, how they make decisions, and how they perceive the world. Qualitative studies have the potential to inform policy making, advance healthcare practices, understand the process of scientific and technological advances, and ultimately lead to more effective interventions and treatments.
