Survival Analysis
Survival analysis is an analytic technique used to analyze time to event data. It is used to investigate the effect of different factors on the duration of an event. For example, in medical studies, it is used to examine the effect of treatments on the time it takes for a patient to die or to be cured. In marketing, it is used to measure the time it takes for a customer to make a purchase or to churn. Additionally, it is used to determine the effects of customer service policies on customer loyalty. By understanding how different factors influence the duration of an event, organizations can better strategize and plan for the future.
