Cystitis
Cystitis is a type of inflammation of the bladder, usually caused by a bacterial infection. It is the most common urinary tract infection and is usually treated with antibiotics. Symptoms of cystitis include burning pain when urinating, frequent urge to urinate, and cloudy or bloody urine. In some cases, it can cause abdominal and pelvic pain. Although cystitis can affect anyone, it is more common in women due to the shorter urethra. Early diagnosis and treatment are important for preventing serious complications, such as a kidney infection.
