Nephroblastoma

Nephroblastoma, also known as Wilms tumor, is a type of cancer that typically affects children under the age of 5 and is found in the kidneys. It is the most common form of kidney cancer in children and can spread to other areas of the body. Treatment typically involves surgery, chemotherapy, and/or radiation therapy. Early diagnosis and treatment are important in helping reduce the risk of the cancer returning or spreading. Nephroblastoma is an important type of cancer to diagnose and treat in children, as it can have a substantial effect on their health and quality of life.
