Polyuria

Polyuria is a medical condition in which a person urinates more frequently or in greater amounts than is typically normal. This can lead to excessive urination, dehydration, electrolyte imbalance and other side effects that can have a big impact on one's health. Polyuria can be caused by a number of medical conditions, such as diabetes and kidney diseases. Treatment of polyuria often involves treating the underlying condition, such as by controlling blood glucose levels and reducing sodium levels in the body. Additionally, lifestyle modifications, such as reducing the intake of fluids and limiting the intake of alcohol and caffeine, can help reduce urine output. Polyuria is an important condition to recognize and treat, as it can lead to serious health consequences if left untreated.
