Pyuria
Pyuria is a medical condition characterized by the presence of white blood cells in the urine. It is important as an indicator of infection and is often an indicator of a urinary tract infection. Pyuria can also be indicative of diseases such as kidney stones or prostate issues, or can be a sign of other general illnesses such as diabetes or cancer. Treatment for pyuria depends on the underlying cause and may include antibiotics or other medications, or surgical procedures. Early diagnosis can help to minimize any long-term effects from pyuria, and regular check-ups are important for anyone with a history of this condition.
