Vasectomy
A vasectomy is a safe and effective permanent form of birth control for men. It is a simple surgical procedure that blocks the flow of sperm from reaching the seminal fluid. This prevents the sperm from fertilizing an egg, which prevents pregnancy. Vasectomy has the advantage of being a one-time procedure with a low risk of complications and a high success rate. It is a highly efficient form of contraception and can be reversed if desired. Vasectomy is also used for medical reasons, such as to reduce the risk of passing on a genetically inherited disorder to a child.
