Biotechnology

Biotechnology is the use of living organisms, or their products, to develop or modify products, to improve plants or animals, or to develop microorganisms for specific uses. Biotechnology has had a huge impact on the modern world, including medicine, agriculture, and industry. Its uses range from creating new drugs, vaccines, and treatments to producing more environmentally friendly fuels, foods, and other materials. With biotechnology, scientists can clone organisms and create genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Furthermore, biotechnology can be used to diagnose and treat diseases, create clean energy sources, and even clean up contaminated environments. Due to its wide range of uses, biotechnology is one of the most promising fields of science.
