Chronobiology
Chronobiology is the scientific study of biological rhythms and the physiological and behavioral responses to them. It investigates the ways in which living organisms, including humans, adjust to periodic changes in their internal and external environment. For example, it may explore how our bodies respond to changes in day and night, the seasons, and other cyclical phenomena such as the cycles of the moon and stars. Chronobiology is an important field that helps us understand the impact of time on our health and everyday lives. It has been used to create treatments for sleep disturbances and other circadian rhythm-related illnesses, as well as to optimize performance and alertness in professions that require people to work around the clock.
