Circadian Rhythms

Circadian rhythms are the natural, internal process that regulates the sleep/wake cycle and other physiological and behavioral changes that occur within a 24-hour period. They are essential for the proper functioning of our bodies and minds, often playing a critical role in sleep, energy levels, metabolism, and overall health. By understanding the biology of circadian rhythms, it can be possible to adjust, alter, and manage our daily routines to better suit our health, work, and lifestyle needs. Further research into circadian rhythms can also help to develop new treatments for various medical conditions, such as depression, insomnia, and jet lag.
