Jak-stat Signaling Cascade

The Jak-Stat signaling cascade is a major pathway of cell signaling involved in the regulation of a wide range of cellular processes. This cascade plays a major role in the regulation of various important cellular functions including growth, development, inflammation, immunity, apoptosis, and cell survival. The Jak-Stat cascade is particularly important in the regulation of immune system activities and as such, is involved in the progression of many diseases, in both immune-mediated and non-immune-mediated diseases. Its role in the regulation of cytokine production, proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis of immune cells make it an important target for therapeutic intervention in the treatment of a range of immune-related diseases.
