Systematics
Systematics is the science of studying and classifying organisms according to their evolutionary relationship. It helps biologists understand how organisms are related to each other, both living and extinct. Through systematics, scientists can reconstruct the relationships and evolutionary histories of groups of organisms, providing insight into the mechanisms of evolution and the natural diversity of organisms. Systematics is also a important tool for conservation and management, allowing scientists to identify and protect endangered species, understand the importance of biodiversity, and manage resources in an effective manner.
