Craniosynostosis
Craniosynostosis is a medical condition in which the bones in an infant’s skull fuse together prematurely. This condition can cause problems with the growth and shape of the skull and face, as well as associated vision, hearing, and cognitive issues. Treatment of craniosynostosis typically involves surgery to separate the fused bones and create a more normal shape. Early diagnosis and treatment is important for optimal outcomes.
