Facial Reconstruction

Facial reconstruction is a medical technique that is used to repair or alter the appearance of a patient’s face due to trauma, disease, or developmental abnormalities. This is done by utilizing a variety of plastic surgery techniques, including tissue transfer, skin grafting, and implant placement. Facial reconstruction is an important step in correcting and restoring physical and psychological damage caused by facial disfigurement. In addition, facial reconstruction is also used for cosmetic reasons, such as reducing wrinkles or enhancing lips and cheekbones. It is a safe and effective way to restore or improve one’s facial features and can have a significant impact on an individual’s quality of life.
