Infectious Myringitis

Infectious Myringitis, also known as ear infection, is caused when bacteria or a virus invade the middle ear and cause inflammation. Symptoms of this condition include severe earache, fever, pus, and swelling in and around the ear. Treatment for this condition may include antibiotics and/or antiviral medications and should be administered as soon as possible to avoid adverse health consequences and potential hearing loss. Infectious Myringitis is a serious but treatable condition that should not be neglected or left untreated. Early detection and prompt medical treatment are necessary to help prevent hearing and balance complications.
