Insulinoma

Insulinoma is a rare type of tumor that affects the pancreas. It is composed of abnormal cells that produce excessive amounts of insulin. This leads to a range of symptoms, including low blood glucose levels and symptoms related to hypoglycemia. Treatment for insulinoma usually involves surgical removal of the tumor and continued monitoring of glucose levels. Early diagnosis and treatment of insulinoma can help to improve symptoms and reduce the risk of long-term complications. For those with insulinoma, proper management of their condition is important in order to improve their overall quality of life.
