Pancreas Pain
Pancreas pain is a type of abdominal pain that is caused by inflammation or dysfunction of the pancreas, a small organ located behind the stomach in the upper abdomen. Pancreatitis, gallstones, alcohol abuse and certain genetic disorders can all cause this kind of pain. Pancreas pain can range from a mild discomfort to severe and disabling pain. It is important to seek medical attention if you are experiencing pancreas pain or any type of abdominal pain. Treatment may include medications, surgery, or lifestyle changes to help manage pain and prevent complications.
