Learning Disabilities

Learning Disabilities are neurological disorders that can affect an individual's ability to learn, think, reason, remember, communicate, and/or make decisions. They can have a significant impact on a person's ability to be successful in school and in the workplace. The most common types of learning disabilities are reading, writing, mathematics, and language-based disabilities. They can also affect a person's social and emotional functioning. With early diagnosis and appropriate supports, individuals with learning disabilities can become successful and fulfilled. This can improve their overall quality of life.
