Marine Resources

Marine resources are a vast array of materials and energy sources that can be found in oceans, seas, estuaries, and other coastal waters. These resources include fish, crustaceans, mollusks, plankton, minerals, and other sedimentary materials. Marine resources are important to both people and the environment since they provide food, energy, and a variety of other products and services for human consumption. Marine resources also play an important role in ecosystems, providing habitats and acting as a buffer against impacts from the land. In this way, marine resources help maintain the delicate balance of marine life and preserve biodiversity. Furthermore, marine resources are increasingly being used for biotechnological and other technological applications, such as renewable energy sources and pharmaceuticals.
