Cell Physiology
Cell physiology is the study of the functions and activities of cells, the fundamental unit of all living organisms. It covers a wide variety of topics, from the structure and function of molecules, to organelle biochemistry, to the biophysics of cellular components and processes. Cell physiology explores how cells are able to sense and respond to their environment, allowing them to exhibit a wide range of physiological functions. In addition, cell physiology aims to identify the physiological mechanisms underlying diseases and provide solutions for effective treatments. Thus, cell physiology is essential for the understanding of the basic mechanisms of cell activity, which underlie all biological processes. It is also used to develop therapies and treatments to combat diseases, as well as to gain insight into the structure and function of cells in healthy and diseased states.
