Phylogenomics

Phylogenomics is the study of genomes within their evolutionary context. It uses genetic data to infer evolutionary relationships between different species. It provides insights into the origins, history, and development of life on Earth, allowing us to better understand the genetic variability among species. Phylogenomics can help us to identify species in danger of extinction, and to explore the evolution of life in different areas. It can also be used to develop interventions against diseases, new drugs, and plant and animal breeding programs. Overall, phylogenomics helps us to better understand evolution and the genetic diversity among species.
