Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA Technique
(RAPD) Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD) technique is a molecular genetic tool used to identify, differentiate and analyze DNA sequences in various organisms such as plants, animals and humans. This technique, first developed in 1984, amplifies a small piece of DNA using a specific primer.
