Endoderm
Endoderm is one of the three primary germ layers that form during the development of an embryo. It is the middle layer of the three primary germ layers - the other two layers being ectoderm and mesoderm. The endoderm layer gives rise to internal organs including the lungs, liver, pancreas, thymus, and more. It is essential for the development of the respiratory and digestive systems and the ability of the body to process nutrients. The endoderm is also important for regulating the body’s hormone production, which is necessary for bodily growth and development. Endodermal tissue is also found in the lining of blood vessels and the skin, helping to regulate the distribution of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body.
