Schizoaffective Disorder
Schizoaffective disorder is a mental health disorder that combines features of both schizophrenia and a mood disorder, such as bipolar disorder or depression. Symptoms usually include delusions and hallucinations, as well as swings in mood and energy level. It is sometimes difficult to diagnose, as symptoms of other disorders can overlap. Treatment usually involves a combination of medication and therapy. It is important to receive early diagnosis and treatment, as schizoaffective disorder can significantly impair a person's quality of life.
