Elbow

Tendonitis Elbow tendonitis is an inflammatory condition of the tendons around the elbow joint. It is caused by repetitive use of the elbow, resulting in swelling, pain, and stiffness. It can also lead to decreased range of motion and weakness in the elbow joint. Treatment typically includes rest, physical therapy, and medications such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. If elbow tendonitis is left untreated, it can lead to permanent joint damage. Elbow tendonitis is a common condition seen in athletes such as tennis players, golfers, and weightlifters. It is also seen in workers who perform repetitive activities with their arms. Early recognition and treatment of elbow tendonitis is important in order to prevent further damage.
