Musculoskeletal Injury
Musculoskeletal injuries are a broad term that refers to any damage to the muscles, bones, and/or tendons in the body. These injuries can be caused by a single traumatic event or can be the result of repetitive overuse. Traumatic musculoskeletal injuries may require immediate medical attention, as they can be life-threatening, while overuse injuries can become more severe if not addressed. Treatment of musculoskeletal injuries can include physical therapy, medication, and surgery. By treating these injuries early and taking preventive measures, long-term damage and disability can be minimized. Musculoskeletal injuries are important to recognize, as they can lead to significant limitations in a person's ability to move and function.
