Myalgia

Myalgia, also known as muscle pain, is a common symptom experienced by adults. It is aching, soreness, or stiffness of the muscles that can range from mild to severe and may be localized in one area or throughout the body. Though the exact cause of myalgia is often unknown, it may be a symptom of an underlying condition or injury, including infection, stress, or overuse of muscles. Treatment depends on the cause, but may include rest, physical therapy, or medication. Myalgia is an important symptom that should be taken seriously, as it may indicate a more serious condition.
