Skeletal Muscles
Skeletal muscles are a type of tissue that consists of multiple muscle cells which, when stimulated, contract and generate force. They form the basis of the muscular system and account for the locomotion and mobility of animals and humans. Skeletal muscles are an important component of the human body as they are responsible for a variety of body movements, from maintaining posture and posture to powering activities such as walking, running, and lifting objects. They are also responsible for generating heat and regulating body temperature. These muscles have evolved over time to become more efficient, enabling us to adapt and thrive in a variety of environments and activities.
