Hemangioma

A Hemangioma is a harmless, non-cancerous growth of abnormal blood vessels that can appear in many parts of the body. They usually appear as raised, red or purple-coloured bumps on the skin and can vary in size from small dots to larger, grape-like growths. Hemangiomas are common in infants and can cause discomfort as they grow. They can be treated with laser therapy, oral medications, or surgery if necessary. Hemangiomas can be significant in some cases, as they can lead to problems such as ulcers, infection, tissue death, or blockage of the internal organs. Therefore, regular monitoring and appropriate treatment is important.
