Hepatoma Cells
Hepatoma cells are cancerous cells derived from the liver. They are typically found as liver tumors, but can also spread to other areas of the body, forming metastases. Hepatoma cells are significant because they can be used to develop treatments and therapies to combat liver cancer, as well as to study the molecular biology of the disease. In addition, they can also be used to better understand how gene expression is regulated in tumors, which can help to identify potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
