Pathology

Pathology is a medical science that studies the cause, origin, and development of diseases, as well as the structural and functional changes associated with them. Pathology plays an important role in medical diagnosis and treatments of diseases. It is used to identify diseases and distinguish between various types of diseases, as well as assess how advanced they are. Pathology also contributes to research and development of new treatments and therapies. Additionally, pathologists can identify the presence of specific infectious agents and the immune responses that result from them. Pathology is integral to our understanding of disease, and its application can be lifesaving in certain situations.
