Pathophysiology

Pathophysiology is the study of how diseases, injuries, and other conditions affect the body's physical functioning. It seeks to understand the mechanisms of how diseases and other health problems occur, how they progress and how they can be prevented or treated. Pathophysiology is important because it helps explain why diseases and other health problems occur, and what can be done to treat and prevent them. This knowledge can then be used to create effective and targeted treatments for specific diseases and conditions. By improving our understanding of the underlying causes of diseases and other health problems, pathophysiology can provide a more complete picture of the best ways to prevent and treat them.
