Albumins

Albumins are a group of proteins found in the blood, egg whites, milk and some other bodily fluids. They are essential for maintaining healthy blood pressure and for transporting hormones, nutrients and other substances throughout our bodies. Albumins also act as buffers and protect our organs from damage. As a result, albumins play an important role in numerous metabolic and physiological processes. They can be used to treat a variety of conditions, ranging from heart failure to burns and have potential applications in many areas of personalized medicine.
