Swine Flu Diagnosis
Swine Flu (or H1N1 Influenza) is an infection caused by a type of Influenza A virus, which primarily affects pigs, but can also infect humans. Diagnosis of swine flu in humans is typically done through laboratory testing, such as PCR or viral culture, or through antigen testing. This type of testing helps identify the specific strain of Influenza A virus, which is important for accurate treatment and determining the risk of transmission from person to person. Early diagnosis is key in preventing the spread of the virus, and thus detecting swine flu is of utmost importance for public health.
