Animal Science
Animal Science is the study of the biology, behaviour, and welfare of domesticated and wild animals. This interdisciplinary field is focused on improving the health and well-being of animals and their contribution to society. Animal Science includes both basic research on the anatomy and physiology of animals, as well as applied research aimed at the development of new technologies to improve animal production and health. Its application has a significant impact on the sustainability of food production, animal health, and the protection of natural ecosystems. Animal Science plays an important role in the development of new animal technology and the use of genetic engineering to improve animal genetics, nutrition, and production. Additionally, Animal Science is used in areas such as animal welfare, behavioral research, and conservation of rare and endangered species.
