Animals, Exotic
Exotic animals are a group of species that, typically, are not found in their natural locations in the wild, due to their remoteness or to the rarity of their occurrence. Such species are usually found in captivity, either in a zoo or in the pet trade. Exotic animals are often sought-after for their attractive features, and they can be used for research purposes, educational programs, or as companion animals. They can provide a great deal of insight into the ecology and biology of different habitats and can help us to better understand the complex workings of nature. By carefully protecting and managing these rare and precious species, we can help to conserve and protect our biodiversity for future generations.
