Equines
Equines are a family of mammals consisting of horses, donkeys and zebras. They are well known for their strength and agility, having been a popular choice for transportation and domestic labor since ancient times. Equines also possess a unique sensory system which allows them to detect subtle changes in their environment, which is invaluable for search and rescue operations, and for conservation efforts. Their highly evolved digestive systems, along with their ability to quickly adapt to changing climates, have made them an important addition to agriculture, as well as to recreational and competitive riding. Equines have played an essential role in human civilization, and their enduring popularity continues to make them an important asset to our world.
