Hedgehogs

Hedgehogs are small mammals covered in spines that can be found in Europe, Asia, and Africa. They are the only kind of mammal to have spines and have adapted for a life of foraging for insects, snails, and other small animals. Hedgehogs are important to the environment as they help control pest populations. They also serve as a food source for some animals such as foxes and badgers. In some areas, they are kept as pets and provide companionship and a source of entertainment. Hedgehogs are an important part of the natural environment and should be respected and protected.
