Iguanas

Iguanas are a type of large, arboreal, mostly herbivorous lizards native to warmer regions of the Americas. They are popular as exotic pets, and have even been used as food by some indigenous peoples in the region. Iguanas play an important ecological role in the areas where they inhabit, feeding on plants and thus controlling vegetation, and providing food for other animals, such as birds and snakes. Iguanas also help to spread the seeds of the plants they consume, thus providing an important means of plant dispersal. They are also beautiful animals and can make an interesting and exciting pet, as they often form bonds with their owners.
