Vesicles

Vesicles are small bubble-like sacs, usually made of a lipid bilayer, that are found in all biological cells. They are essential for the functioning of cellular processes, as they transport and store substances such as proteins, enzymes, lipids, and nucleic acids within cells. Vesicles can be used for drug delivery and for biochemical processes such as endocytosis, exocytosis, and the release of neurotransmitters to other cells. Vesicles also play a vital role in research, as they can be used to model artificial cells, providing insight into how cells operate.
