Wildlife Disease
Wildlife disease is the study of diseases occurring in wild animal populations. It is an important field of study as it can provide insight into the biology and ecology of species, as well as the effects of human activities on wildlife. Additionally, wildlife diseases can pose a risk to public health when they infect livestock and humans. By understanding the transmission, symptoms and effects of diseases, it is possible to develop ways to reduce their prevalence and mitigate their impacts. Thus, wildlife disease research has a major role in the conservation of wild species and the prevention of disease outbreaks.
