Zootherapy

Zootherapy is an evidence-based animal-assisted psychological and physical therapy treatment that involves interaction between humans and animals. It is used to promote physical, mental, and emotional health, as well as provide support in dealing with psychological problems. Zootherapy has been used to treat a wide range of conditions including anxiety, depression, autism, attention deficit disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder. It has also been shown to be effective in reducing stress, improving social skills and increasing confidence. Zootherapy has the potential to improve the quality of life of both people and animals involved.
