Research Interests:

Medical Microbiology, antimicrobial resistance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Acinetobacter baumannii, Virology (especially Avian Influenza viruses and infectious bronchitis virus), Immunology, Immunogenicity study of Vaccines and Molecular biology.


Honors and Awards:

  • 2006: Pre doctoral scholarship at University of Connecticut.
  • 2014: awarded a competitive grant ($12000) from the Egyptian Ministry of education.
  • 2016: ISV annual congress award ($1000) from the international society for vaccines.
