Actinomadura

Actinomadura is a genus of filamentous bacteria that are widespread in the environment, especially in soils. These organisms are of great importance in the fields of biotechnology and bioremediation. In biotechnology, Actinomadura species produce antibiotics, enzymes, and other biomolecules of commercial interest.
