Deoxygenation
Deoxygenation is a process of removing oxygen from organic molecules. It is used in a wide range of industrial and medical applications, such as the production of fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and more recently, fuels and biofuels. Deoxygenation is important for improving the purity of organic compounds, and for enabling the production of compounds with novel properties. The process has become an increasingly important part of the chemical industry, and has had a major impact on our ability to develop and use new materials and compounds.
