Oxygen Barriers

Oxygen barriers are materials used to create a barrier to the transmission of oxygen from one side to the other. This is important in a variety of applications, from food and beverage packaging to medical products. Oxygen barriers can provide protection from oxygen degradation, which can cause spoilage and deterioration. These materials also have benefits for healthcare and pharmaceutical products, such as extended shelf life and improved stability. Oxygen barriers can be made from a variety of materials, including plastics, metal foils and paper. They are also essential for the fabrication of flexible packaging, such as vacuum-sealed bags and pouches.
