Biography:

  • Dr. Shanzhi Wang is a biochemist and enzymologist working as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry for University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
  • He received his PhD of Biochemistry from Texas A&M University in 2010. Before joining UALR, Shanzhi did his postdoctoral research at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx.
  • His research focuses on characterizing proteins of DNA mismatch-repair complexes and design of enzyme inhibitors as drug candidates.
