Sinusitis and Allergies
Sinusitis and allergies are both common medical conditions. Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinuses, caused by either a bacterial or viral infection. It can cause symptoms such as nasal congestion, headache, pain in the face, coughing, fatigue, and decreased sense of smell. Allergies occur when the body is exposed to an allergen such as pollen, dust, or animal dander, and the body's immune system reacts by producing antibodies. Symptoms of allergies may include sneezing, congestion, runny nose, itchy eyes, coughing, and skin rashes. Both sinusitis and allergies can be managed through the use of medications, natural remedies, and lifestyle changes. Proper diagnosis and treatment are important to alleviate the symptoms and improve overall health.
