Antacids
Antacids are a type of medication used to treat heartburn and acid reflux. They work by neutralizing the stomach acid that causes these symptoms. The most common antacids contain aluminum, calcium carbonate, magnesium, or sodium bicarbonate. These substances can come in liquid, tablet or capsule form. Antacids can provide quick relief from the uncomfortable symptoms of heartburn and acid reflux. They are also used to prevent these issues when taken regularly before meals.
