Biopsy

A biopsy is a medical procedure in which a sample of tissue is removed from a living organism and examined under a microscope. The tissue sample is then sent to a laboratory for further testing. It is used to diagnose and monitor diseases such as cancer, infections, and other medical conditions. By examining a tissue sample, doctors can identify the presence of specific cells, as well as any abnormalities. This can help them make treatment decisions, as well as provide information about the severity of the medical condition.
